Your community group focusing only on sharing important information and warnings around crime, crime prevention and public awareness of areas concerning those living in El Aspre!   In the event of criminal activity the first number to call is the Guardia Civil in Vergel. Their number is 96 575 00 82. This number should be used also if you see any suspicious activity. In the event that there is a non foreign language speaker on duty they will transfer you to central control. Let’s work together to keep our area safe following a number of burglaries and other issues.  United we can achieve so much!

Many of the residents of El Aspre subscribe to the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme which includes  a WhatsApp group and a resident lead early warning system. This is a free to join scheme  administered by volunteers from within the community 

Vigilance and community participation are key to speedy action and spreading awareness in the  event of an emergency or crime prevention.

Early Warning in the Event of Suspicious or Criminal Activity  

The following alert action should be taken In the event of suspicious or criminal activity or  unplanned dangerous occurrence requiring urgent action  

1 Contact the relevant Guardia Civil on 062 or 965 750 082 

2 Alert the local Police on 092 or 686 427 899 

3 Alert the WhatsApp Group 

4 Sound air / car horns or activate alarms where available (airhorns are available from online  retailers and some Chinese bazaar shops) 

5 Alert neighbours who may not be aware of the early warning systems  

DO NOT put yourself or others at risk of harm. 

When safe to do so please check on vulnerable neighbours and neighbouring unoccupied  properties and report any concerns
